Martin Luther King, Jr.

As one can almost see in King's eyes, there was great turmoil in U.S.
race relations.  Riots were happening in cities all over the eastern part of
the country; even Washington was burning.  Eventually, people that
pushed for equalitity and justice (especially when they started talking
about economic justice) were all assassinated.

And across the Pacific, American 'boys', mostly aged 18-24, were bombing
strafing torching slaughtering Vietnamese people.  Or rather, Vietnamese
people that lived north of a particular latitude.
